William currently serves on 8 Committees in the NC House of Representatives:
Agriculture – Vice Chair, Mental Health Reform – Vice Chair, Agribusiness and Agricultural Economy, Appropriations, Appropriations Subcommittee on Health and Human Services, Environmental and Natural Resources, Transportation, and Wildlife Resources. He is former Chair of the Bladen County Board of Commissioners, Vice-Chair of Bladen County Hospital Board of Trustees & Bladen Medical Center and Secretary & Treasurer of Bladen County Farm Bureau. He is an energetic leader who believes strongly in giving back to his community and is working hard for us in the N.C. Legislature.
William’s wife of 42 years, Brenda helps manage the couple’s farming business and is actively involved in the Dublin Peanut Festival Committee and Dublin First Baptist Church, where the couple are members. The have a son, Alan, daughter-in-law, Angela, and are proud grandparents to four-year-old Autumn.
